Hellllooo Winter! Brrr. We’re doing all of our final preps for winter as the snow decided to show up a little sooner than usual. Time to turn on the autowaterer heaters and bust out the winter blankets!
We have a new resident at MHF. We were able to rescue a wonderful off the track Thoroughbred named Germany Bay. He has had a rough go of things before coming to us. We are giving him some time off and lots of love and food as he is pretty underweight. That will be goal number one…weight gain. Because he has Germany in his name and he needs groceries, we have affectionately named him, Aldi. He and my other personal horses will be getting some body work done soon. Thank you, Autumn Kennedy. We have a new family joining our crew, leasing one of our boarded horses. We are so excited to ride with them! We still have Indy available for full lease or part lease. She is a gem and would make a great partner for someone with or without much experience. See our “For Sale/For Lease” page for more information.
